you can have one extra un-accented syllable on the end and it still counts! like "tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow" or "to be or not to be, that is the question"

realized after posting that this could've sounded snobby toward your specific poems, which i haven't read yet--sorry if so, because you do you!! i didn't mean anything more than to give my real nerdy reader answer. (but ps, english prose is naturally full of iambic pentameter, so you have it in ya)

heyyy, i read poetry all the time (even published some). what convinces me to read someone/something in particular is usually that there's actual form, rhythm, structure, not just pretty words arranged in short lines on a page.
disclaimers: i am old and have 2 grad degrees in literature, heh
