Finally watching the last season of Stranger Things. It really feels like the costume person just said “ChatGPT, what did people look like in the 80’s?” It’s like they kind of got the general idea, but it’s still just totally off.

I’m not confident that if there is a blue wave this year and Dems take the House and Senate anything will change. Most of them will still be too chickenshit to do anything but send me text messages asking for money for their next campaign. They’re basically fundraising off of Trump shit. Why stop?

I really should listen more when everyone says something is good. Just finished The Pitt and it was phenomenal. It kills me but I think I’ll have to wait for season 2 to end before watching it. I can’t imagine having to wait a full week between episodes.

Got my wife the Galaxy Quest 4k. Hadn’t seen it in a while. I spent way too much time messing with my player settings because there were black bars running on all four sides. I finally said screw it because I couldn’t fix it. Forgot that they disappear about 20 minutes in. Total face palm moment.

Finally watched One Battle After Another. Thought it was really really good. However, the last five or so minutes of the movie are really bothering my brain. Also (micro-nitpick) that opening title card looked weird. Like DTV looking. Just looked very weird.

Weird Pluribus nitpick. Last week dude was saying that they meet on Zoom like every Tuesday and Thursday, and voted not to include Carol, however this week we’re barely on day 12.
