-not even calling it a regime, but government;
-It is sketchy to make claims about people's opinion based solely on regime's data. The available independent polls contradict her (I know the issues with such online polls, but by design there is nothing else) gamaan.org/2025/08/20/a...

Sadly she might be right about her assessment.
If not pro-regime, clearly trying to put it in a better light.
Besides the misrepresentation of hijab enforcement:
-presenting the attempt to a regime change as not serving Iranians' interests;
-toning down the regime's killings of thousands Iranians;

Interesting to read, but the article reads like the take of a pro-regime reformist. Eg they haven't relaxed hijab enf after 2022, they have even increased penalties (+reports of harsher enforcement even during war). &that was after many deaths. The people I speak to don't see this as a viable option

Iranians are chanting his name & I would say that deserves reporting irrespectively of our thoughts about monarchy. What is underreported is that he does not formally claim the crown & has formed a coalition with a clear transition plan with a referendum, drawing support even from anti-monarchists.
