very excited for the present/future where more people can join the ATmosphere via pathways other than Bluesky

also for transparency, i signed up for northsky’s waitlist *way* back when it was first announced… that was before i had my own PDS for my main account

the invite code just landed in my email this week and i thought it was worth creating a new alt to check it out

this isn’t a critique really, just me live posting on the new account about the experience — it was very seamless though aside from the lack of a mobile design

can’t speak to migration cause i didn’t migrate, just started a new account

it was relatively easy to create a @transrights.northsky.social account with the invite code, but i hope the team gives the website and account creation/migration some TLC… its design/UX is pretty bad on mobile which is what i used — doesn’t feel like a trustworthy website, feels sketchy
