I thought it was time to make a Twitch trailer, a selection of the kind of crap that I take on stream, random singing / laughter / bad jokes / banging the keyboard / dying inside.
Plus the song everyone loves.
All this and very much less on www.twitch.tv/thegenesiste...

What's worse than a nightmare? TWO.
Tonight I'm playing Nightmare on Elm Street NES + DOS back to back, to see which one will break me faster and make me its bitch.

That artstyle reminds me of the Zorro GBC game, which is probably worse than the Capstone DOS one. Quite the tall order.

It is apparently one of my most popular articles (*sigh*) so, in case you were ever curious about the PC-98 horror series Dead of the Brain, I did a little write-up a couple of years ago on these two cult classic VN titles.

Dead of the Brain 1 & 2 - The Nightmare Never Ends
Horror PC-98 adventures Dead of the Brain 1 and 2 were developed by a company specialised in erotic games. But are they a decent proposition?

I confess to using "winos" several times on my last few streams because an adventure game from 1984 reminded me of the existence of that word.

Who knew computer sales in the 80s could be sexy?

They're at least six months late

Well, they might play the "oh we didn't know he was LIKE THIS" card, but it's a bit too late I think, especially after backpedaling on the charity.

Yep that's all the game has to offer

...we have discussed this with the author and found that kicking puppies MIGHT ACTUALLY BE...

That's like me hearing at 10 "games will make kids violent" and hearing that same crap thirty years later

Rushing to donate everything to charities then backing up is a very bad business decision, whichever way you spin it

He really does sound very sorry, doesn't he?
Moses beat "cancel culture"
damiano.bsky.social
So if he hadn't apologized for his comments, the author would have been fine with donating 100% of his royalties, but now that he has, there's no need to do that anymore and he can happily keep them since he has, and I quote, "beat cancel culture".
Huh.

Circus Fighters is a 1-vs-1 fighting game with two circus-like mechs and... That's it, I literally know NOTHING else about it. Infogrames is mentioned. Is that real? Doubt it.
It was released around 1997... wait, "released"? Was it sold? Is it a proof of concept? I can't find anything.

I still don't think Infogrames had anything to do with this, but I also wonder why it was on a Warez cd to begin with
