Playing with @meshtastic.org tonight, it’s a LoRA mesh network suitable for sending short messages when there is no cell/wifi service. Thinking #burningman would be a great spot to use this.

The @ionic.io VS Code extension now supports migration to #Angular 19 and will also help upgrade any peer dependencies in your project. After migration you can click Project > ... and choose any of the migrations to Signal Inputs, inject DI, built-in control flow and more.

The code was in AMOS Basic written by François Lionet. Eventually I lost the source code for Breed after my Amiga 500 died with motherboard issues. As a student I couldn’t afford a new one and after getting a job coding in Turbo Pascal, the passion for writing games dissolved.

I’d call this the “good old days” of game development. A single developer could push the limits of the hardware, and be responsible for everything about the game. I wrote the music in fast tracker.
