this is now my textbook writing thread this is so funny. i was right about pulling the trigger on tangent spaces KIND OF ... kind of . i dont talk about tangent spaces instantly i just talk about linear approximations and tangent stuff which comes from that which i think is better....

i was so wrong the tangent space is so important don't listen to past me his eyes are blind (although i was write that you shouldnt get into it first if ur teaching calc1, you just stay in the 0&1 forms then for integration u get into that stuff)

every single textbook and video on this starts with the goddamn tangent space no wonder you guys fail to teach this to calc1ers youve got your finger on the dual spaces trigger holy shiiiiit
