One of the best kitchen investments I ever made was a good Japanese rice cooker. Top quality rice dead simple and reliable. Added bonus? Steel cut oats for brekkie. For this bowl of oats, greek yogurt, blueberries, a little brown sugar and milk, the most slowest step is rinsing the berries.
