The argument that we can't regulate HC pricing is BS. We do exactly that for utilities.

More recently - China went from ~50% coverage to near universal in about 6 years [2005 to 2011}.

FWIW: Many (incl Mark) conflate single-payer w/ universal coverage. Our problem isn't the # of payers. It's uncapped commercial pricing.

* gives appearance of action w/ delayed proof of efficacy
