Cats at the arc light right before lockdown. People had heard how goofy it was and came to have a good time talking back to the screen. We laughed a lot.

Seriously. I was aware of it at my our own house, but especially being in a big apt building for almost a year this year, you see how all that crap just gets immediately chucked or left all over the mail room, it’s such a waste.

I put the old fashioned EarPods through wash and they still worked. I’m so sorry, hope everything comes out ok.

All oaks are protected in CA. That is why people are scandalized. Even if an oak is on your property, there is a heavy burden to remove or move or do anything with it. They cannot even be pruned randomly but must be minimally pruned by an arborist.

No we don’t have wild cows here. The part of forest closest to us burned but the majority of it did not, there are still dozens of miles of forest - a whole mountain range. There are tons of coyotes, bears, raccoons, mountain lions, deer, etc. No hunting whatsoever because it’s a federal park.

They lost habitat due to fire, there have been people here for hundreds of years. the bears have access to a huge mountainous federal forest parkland right here. I love animals, but too many folks here are feeding wild animals and providing water right in town, on empty lots right next to our houses

I think many of us try to make eye contact with the driver in the right lane and make sure they see us and are stopping just as a self protection measure

I was googling about it. I guess she only got KROQ airplay which is actually huge, but was an alt station, and college radio here in LA. I guess I didn’t listen to KROQ a lot during those years was mostly just listening to my own stuff
