I left watercolor 20 years ago to pursue casein, gouache, and then landed on encaustic. Encaustic has been my medium for 15+ years.
While I wait for my encaustic supplies I’m dabbling in watercolor. I’ll see where it goes. Small painting in process.

Finished this morning! I’ve made about 50 pairs of socks and this is the worst kitchener I’ve ever done. Not a big deal -

I’m working on a striped #crochet bag designed by the team at #Madejajaja in #MexicoCity. I’ll finish my stripes and go back to the shop next week to learn how to attach the strap. I plan to line it with fabric. Bags for purchases are a big deal since we’re shopping on foot!

They are everywhere! You can even look up and see dogs! There are the full breeds that you see in all big cities but in Mexico City I’m seeing sweet mutts and disabled dogs as well - loved by their people. #dogs #dogsofmexicocity #dogsofbluesky #mexicocity

My penguin was a lesson in changing colors. I’m thinking there might be an easier way?!? I cut and tied off yarn at every color change, two times per row. It was hard to keep stitches tidy and hard to keep my sanity! #amigurami #crochet #penguin
