What's inevitable is the coming bubble-burst (and its fallout), and the AI companies are desperately trying to cling to its relevance, shoving it down our throats, and paying people vast amounts to perpetuate its myth.

I’m old enough to remember when talk of renewable energy was always tempered with the caveat that “what’s the point, if China and India keep burning fossil fuels”. While certainly not the whole story, there’s some genuinely good news in here.
