I hadn’t been on Twitter since the election. I fully closed it down tonight. It was hard to give up on 5500 followers (>6000 pre-election), but I just can’t with that guy.

I really like our new logo. This is still an exploratory effort, but we are working hard to put the pieces together.

A timeless Deree family holiday classic. Marshall was born in the UK and lived in Nicaragua, Mexico, and New Zealand before moving back to the U.S. for the 5th grade. Poor boy didn't know how to make a hand turkey. #Thanksgiving

He was timid at first, but within a day he was all smiles. It was also clear he had been well cared for. After waking up to music on the ride home, he immediately started dancing. He also knew baby sign language.
And you know what? He’s still beautiful.

After eight months, we were informed of our match with a 17-month old named José Luis Meza Gonzalez while we were the U.S. We immediately cut our trip short and headed back to Mexico.

Papa, Sometimes the news is scary and sad and people can be really mean, but I am thankful to be surrounded by people who love me in a safe, warm home. Today, let’s think of some ways to help people and dogs who are struggling.

My son is working hard to qualify for #Marine Recon (their version of special forces). The physical test to begin training is crazy and the training itself has a high washout rate. We were in California last week as part of his prep. On Thursday, he dove with sea lions and ran 10 miles with SEALS!
