"You're pretty and kind, I might stop by off work sometime" - to quote my Wolt driver. In 2023.

I know men who hate even a mention of the "me too" movement. They'd tell me I am overreacting. They'd tell me I have no reason to feel unsafe. And yet I do. That person knows where I live. This is not OK

I hate it when baristas don't (ask to) put a lid on your coffee.

And yes, I am writing this with clothes covered in coffee.

Reviews focusing on nitpicking are so toxic. We keep shipping bugs, but hey, at least you made me change a variable name and move a function five times. How is this acceptable is beyond me.

Leveraging the power of Snapchat AI:

Send it a picture of my sock, say it's my biceps, it compliments me, I ask it to rate my "biceps", says it's 9 out of 10

It's funny that I feel more private in a flat than in my house. I bought a house because I wanted privacy and quiet - I got neither. Severely underestimated how little of it I have if I buy a house directly on the main road. People would stare in my windows and comment on what I was doing.

Me: I hate how women get treated in tech

Guy: If people treat you badly, maybe you should talk to them more! Maybe you didn't say the right things! You need to change how you view the situation! What size companies was it? It must have been just bad luck! Also I advise you not to blame sexism!

The happiest I was in my career was when I was able to pass my React knowledge to a junior group and coach them at a bootcamp. Sadly, I'd also earned about 20% of my current pay check then.

After working with GraphQL in multiple companies, and now implementing custom caching for queries, I don't understand why people ever pick it even more than before.

Going to see Barbie tonight and coincidentally my hair is pink! Too bad I don't have a cute pink dress to go with it, probably never thought about this case when I was shopping 😭 💕

Magical useEffects referencing 20 different variables and having empty dependency array are the root of all evil.

An underestimated code quality metric: Make sure the person who comes after you can contribute without having to refactor the whole thing.
