They are all afraid. They think they can stop the violence, but the fish rots from the head so its an exercise in futility. But fear isn't rational.

That's what I meant, other people get shot, other public figures were shot in their own home. It just seems weird to me. The tone feels very weird.

I don't understand how you can take this so personally. Sure, muder is bad, political assassination is v bad, although I contend that this is the consequences of living in the Trump regime- but Kirk ideology isn't anywhere close to the Bulwark, he's not your team and he and his ilk never will be.

Given the president's rhetoric, it is likely to occur again. I’m not a fan of it, but with a population of 300 million, it's difficult to avoid. Today's incident won't be the trigger; the trigger was set off long before now.
