Since I have online community/organizing meetings three+ times a week, I decided I'm going to do something during them. I got a free denim jacket and cloth bags I'm adding patches to. First day of meetings went pretty well.

I have a Florida IG account to follow what's happening there and talk about the truth under lies I was told growing up there. The amount of actual antisemitism that goes unchallenged when it is falsely used to try to silence ppl talking about the genocide in Gaza is really something.

For anyone in Jersey City who follows local politics, I had such a different feeling putting this ornament away this year. That we have some council people with actual beliefs and policies they will stand by. The age of 7-2 might actually be over.

The specific kind of nerd I am is I was incredibly excited to meet the person who worked on this graphic from @dosocialjustice.bsky.social tonight. I think about this everyday since the first iteration a couple years ago. NJ is not what it tells itself it is.
