It will be good if Señor Maduro is removed from power, but there’s no guarantee that we’ve Made Venezuela Great Again.

There's at least the possibility that they simply don't have enough information from sources they trust. But the financial crisis there is at least in part due to onerous sanctions, and they don't want President Trump to get any credit for it.
