So when I hear that, I know who they're talking to and I stopped being defensive about it a long time ago.
I know there will never be an ICE style agency coming after me for being cishet or white, or laws singling me out for it.

Hey I just had a long argument with such people. Got blocked twice by for producing easily available information.
I was born into the conservative echo chamber and I escaped it. I have a measured quantity of sympathy for those who remain. Once Trump gets involved it usualy runs out though.

You have to learn how to do that from schools or someone else who knows how to sort the truth from reassuring lies.
I think the first time someone sees that their conservative worldview might be wrong they have my sympathy. When it keeps happening and they don't change, my symathy runs out.

Its less that people are dumb than the education system being sabotaged for this very purpose. People work with the tools they have and America has been disarmed.

At this point I'm willing to hear any alternative to capitalism out. I don't know the odds that communism will improve my life, but I know that the odds capitalism will is zero.

None of the politicians are hurting. The constituants are the ones suffering. The rich remain rich. But now we have a president that is invading his own country. Portland, DC, Chicago. ICE raids seperating children from parents. Horrible stuff you don't seem to care about.

I was referring to the major protests at rallies, which at some point simply stopped going to Trump events and focused entirely on getting Democrats to not vote. Net benefit Trump.

A single voter canot hold any politician responsible. But a lot would be different if she had been president, and a woman not recognizing that is troubling to me. You must have grown up the kind or rich that abortion access has never been an 'if'. It is now many places.
