Reading the 40K novel, Avenging Son, and I absolutely hate Commodore Eloise Athagey. I don't know, maybe I'm supposed to dislike her, but her portions of the book, naval warfare, are rough and boring. Navy actions bore me as a general rule, but these are sooo dull!

Saw an interesting perspective on the artists that helped bring Warhammer 40,000 to life. "Goodwin created the 41st Millennium, but Blanche lived there."

Just finished Genefather, a good story with a slight pacing issue. Possible reference to Men of Iron or maybe Chaos Androids, it's hard to say really. Cawl, Bile, Primus and Qvo all make for great characters, as expected, but I had hope for more from the Bile/Cawl interactions.
