I'm, in short, a Great Dane and cat mom who loves learning about other cultures and ideas. I used to belly dance a lot, but have been disabled for a few years with what we now know is Lupus and POTS. I have, however, beaten CPTSD!
Meeko, our rescued laboratory cat, sure does love Kronk, our rescued Great Dane! Pretty hard to handle this level of cute.

We spent MLK Day by putting up resistance flags, eating at a Black-owned brewery, and building legos while watching Team America! Meeko, our rescued laboratory cat, helped.

Right before I became disabled, I went on a dream vacation to Egypt, along with Kenya! In Kenya, we stayed at a Maasai-run lodge called Il Ngwesi. In Egypt, we toured to Cairo, Luxor, and others to see the absolutely stunning temples and history. We hope to be back!

Yoda was an absolutely amazing dog! We adopted him as an adult in February 2020. In this picture, we had just passed our evaluation to be a therapy dog team with Pet Partners! Unfortunately, he had DCM and passed a year after treatment in 2023. DCM is common in poorly bred Great Danes. We miss you!
