So the underground/cave/mines base board has been completed. Just need to work out the best way to do walls so they match the floor. Lots of fun had trying out coloured tile grout for the first time. Need to get some scatter built.

Found 3mm foam between the tiles helps avoid damage when stacked. 😀

Cleaned up the edging and made it a solid colour finally.
Might give the pitch another layer of flocking as the two sides don't quite match.
Is it worth adding a little browning of the turf where the line of scrimmage is as well?

Really want to replicate this texture on a dnd gridded board. But it keeps looking like cracked flagstones.
I think I'll just have to accept it as it is.

Realised I could get the markings done on the first half of the pitch.
Not sure if I'll change the yellow end zone. Will give it an extra coat of yellow tomorrow and then decide. The other end I think will be red.

Low energy today ... keeping hands busy sat with boxes full of paints. Picking one of each wash/ink/shade/contrast to compare them. Sample board will happen when my battery recharges.

Forgot I had started these dungeon tiles after putting them to one side. Took half a pot of mp to seal them.
Think a quick overbrush of a dark grey and light drybrush of light grey will sort them out.
They'll be heading to the DM as well.
