If you want to try a fun game and learn more about LLM safety at the same time, try Gandalf.
Gandalf knows a very, very secret password and you have to get him to reveal it to you. Each level adds an additional security measure.
It's really interesting and fun.
Gandalf | Lakera – Test your prompting skills to make Gandalf reveal secret information.
Trick Gandalf into revealing information and experience the limitations of large language models firsthand.

Important point, as in all his security tips, from @valorin.bsky.social. This is the reason why we use MailTrap for staging sites and MailHog for local sites. I even wrote an article on how to integrate MailHog with Lando, our choice for managing and sharing local dev environments.

Kling (the AI video tool from the Chinese company Kuaishou Technology) is really good.

I've been making fictional products, like a laser cake slicer, and it manages to get both the smoke physics, lighting, and cake physics pretty consistently right at 1080p

I've joined the CVE hype-train! 🤣

Ok, in all seriousness, this is an issue if you have register_argc_argv=On. It's trivial to exploit and can unlock dev/debug helpers. 😱

GO UPDATE!
Laravel Security Notice: Laravel Environment Manipulation via Query String
[Notice #3] Update your Laravel version and ensure `register_argc_argv` is disabled non-CLI commands!

A very important and often overlooked security aspect of web applications are the dependencies.

That is why we always actively offer our clients update packages to keep their applications up-to-date and therefore more secure.
This one is somewhat appropriate after my #LaraconAU talk:

Dependencies are security risks, especially if you have a lot of them or don't keep them updated. Remove the ones you don't need, and update the rest!
