28 Years Later: The Bone Temple.
What a trip this turned out to be even more so than the previous movie. Gotta say the climax was pretty awesome and the Doc and Alpha Samson bromance was sweet to watch. Also the Jimmy rangers was not what I expected after their debut introduction. Great movie.

Looking up the director’s previous works Kenichiro Akimoto. I can see that he’s really well versed in the CG direction department. Explains the great set pieces in the climax

All You Need is Kill.
Great action and nice art style and backgrounds. As an adaptation it gets the job done well with an emotional hook for the main characters.
Payoff at the end was also really nice.

Wedge of Imposition was a short sweet story of Tekkadan between season one and two of IBO and most importantly the origin of Orga’s suit. The special message from the Urdr main MC voice actor highlighted that specific detail and I bursted laughing cos they are very aware!!!

First movie of the year was a double feature for the Gundam series celebrating their respective anniversaries. Iron blooded Orphans for 10 years and Gundam Wing Endless Waltz for 30 years.

Learned that New Game Plus is basically a director’s cut so I’ll save that replay for later with the Night Springs expansion. This game rocks!

Turns out this was an expansion exploring a whole new map and a new weapon frame and mods. Lemme tell ya these mods wipe the floor in the main campaign.
