Sure, but using the term Willy Milly dilutes its meaning. We could call world war 2 and 2 dark ages, some people might call the current era a dark age. THE dark ages in Europe are 500-1000 CE. Anything else is A dark age

Historians have used the same definition since medieval times. Common use of the term is confused. The word 'dark' does not help.

For example, most witch burnings occured in the 16th and 17th century, not the dark ages.

They were called the dark ages (500-1000 CE) because there Renaissance people contrasted it with the enlightened classical period.

As much as I hate the church, they are not to blame for the dark ages. Inquisition etc came much later.

The US focuses on positive freedom (the right to do stuff such as carrying guns. In Europe the focus is in negative freedom +the right not to get shot)
