Lincoln County: no wind for you

Now that I'm a grandpa myself I really hope my grandson finds something that catches his eye on my shelf and that we can have our own special moments like that.

Once I asked him about the Tommyknockers and I was pretty creeped out just by his description. I look back on these interactions and I wish I had asked him more, and gotten to know more about his life before being a grandpa.

I remember being in awe when he told me he had read every single book on the rows and rows of shelves that wrapped around their entertainment room. He loved military fiction and Steven King, and he would tell me a little bit about the stories that those hardback dust jackets were enclosing.

In my head I read that as

Truth.

If I wasn't supposed to eat them all they shouldn't fit on my finger tips like little snack gloves

Wait... Is that a weird thing to do!?

I forgot about this gem. I'm pretty sure it activated a splinter cell somewhere.
