Excited to see a new Weinberg book, announced with a publication date of January 2026! It promises to be a fantastic collection of essays, including a modest one by myself.

Very sorry to hear of the death of Bernd Feuchtner, the president of the Deutsches Schostakowitsch Gesellschaft. He was a key figure in Shostakovich research, as well as an advocate for early and new opera, opera production, and directing. He will be sorely missed.
