In a lot of modern cars you can give the indicator stalk a nudge and it'll activate the lights a couple of times without turning them on permanently. Ostensibly for changing lanes on motorways rather than turning at junctions etc. Been a thing for a while though (in UK at least).

I had to laugh at someone on the News Agents worrying that they'd just vote inline with the latest tiktok vibes, as if significant swathes of the older generation haven't been brainwashed by Facebook and the Mail et al.
