Quick question. If some of the farmers who are subsidized to go Soya beans for China would convert their farms to grow food for Americans. Would the price of food in America come down? Would we still need the farm bill at the current price tag of almost 1T? Just curious.

I am struggling to understand why we are not focusing on why so many people need food assistance in the richest country on earth. Please explain the solution.
