I guess all that can be done is try to be better and to do good even if being recognized or rewarded isn’t guaranteed.

Hopefully I’m someone women feel safe around but I really can’t blame them for having suspicions.
And while men aren’t going through nearly as much I do believe it’s tough for those of us with empathy. Society tells us to keep quiet and perpetuate utter barbarism or be aware and distrust ourselves.

I’m not defending the sequels and remakes though. The power of working class families desiring to shut lil Timmy up for 2-3 hours and beelining for anything with a hint of familiar nostalgia is frankly terrifying.
