Super fair but at least in my opinion he threw way more and had better outcomes per throw (with the exception of Herbert’s 7.7 YPA vs Burrow’s 7.5). Really Im just riled up about the Mahomes comparison cause Im not sure how you watch last regular season and think Mahomes had a better season.

Im not saying you’re wrong, but I don’t understand. Burrow didn’t have big leads, so at least in my mind the defense wouldn’t change. If it’s the opposite direction and the other team has a big lead why would an offense chew clock? Also Im not pro Burrow, but he had a better season than the others.

Completely agree on the volume helping but if he was just throwing prayer balls his completion percentage wouldn’t be higher than the other QBs listed. If he was forced to throw more often and still maintained better outcomes on a per throw basis that seems like an odd thing to use against him.

Ok but if we go nonQB it was Saquon(totally unbiased as the profile pic shows). By the numbers Burrow had a better season. By the eye test I’m not sure of a single thing Mahomes was better at besides have a great defense. Herbert I’d disagree with but understand. Jayden was unfortunately electric.

Burrow had at least 990 more yds, and at least 17 more TDs than those 3 QBs. The same/fewer INTs than all but Herbert(only 3 which is super impressive). He also had a better completion percentage than all 3.

He wasnt the MVP(that was Saquon) but he had an objectively better year than those guys.
