3. Batman (1989)

Was pleasantly surprised by this one. The action is pretty solid throughout, same with the acting, Nicholson as Joker is the highlight of the entire film by the way, while not as amazing as something like the Dark Knight, this is still a really well done Batman story.

2. Yogi Bear The Movie

Never would have expected this to be the first movie I logged here, but life finds a way I guess. Not much to really say about this film as a whole. Nothing’s that horrible, nothing’s that good, it’s the definition of a 5/10.

1. The Pitt Season 1

This deserved all the awards it took home. The acting is phenomenal on all fronts especially from Noah Wyle, the medical treatments educated me a lot on how hospitals like this work, and the emotional moments hit as hard as you would expect.

74. Batman Assault on Arkham

One of two things I forgot to add to this thread. Enjoyed this a good amount as a spinoff to the Arkham games. Troy Baker as Joker was especially a highlight.

73. My Hero Academia Season 6

Best season of the show thus far. Not only did it get much more serious than any previous season or arc, but the character building and animation were on point all throughout. So Hyped to see how this all wraps up.

72. Mortal Kombat 1

An interesting start to this new era of MK. The gameplay itself is solid, but the story takes some iffy turns that keep me from calling it great. A little lower on the scale compared to MK9’s story.

71. Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery

Forgot to add this a few days ago. The emotional intensity here gives this movie its own identity and helps it standout. The acting is phenomenal, the mystery is complex, while this still doesn’t top the original, this was still a strong new entry.

Here is my Media Bingo Card for 2026. I hope to experience more media than I did last year though it depends on how much time I will have.

70. Gurren Lagann The Movie: The Lights In The Sky Are Stars

Has some similar pacing problems to the previous movie, but the highs are still some of the highest from anything I have seen all year, especially the final battle. Watch the show before these though.

69. Gurren Lagann The Movie: Childhood’s End

Some unnecessary changes and speed-runs keep this from being as good as the actual first half of the show, but this was still a solid time with the same amazing characters and action the show is known for.

68. Gremlins

This deserves its title as an 80s classic. I did not expect it to get as bonkers as it did, and yet that just made me love it even more. Also Gizmo is adorable and I would die for him

67. Home Alone 2: Lost In New York

Definitely not as good as the first, but still an overall fun time. The places Kevin visits in New York are all fun, several of the supporting players are really enjoyable, and that childlike sense of wonder is still present here even if to a lesser extent.

66. My Hero Academia Season 5

Probably the weakest season of the show, but that doesn’t mean that it’s bad. I still really enjoyed a lot of the character development here, especially on Deku and Shigaraki’s ends, and the set up for the next season looks insane.

65. My Hero Academia Heroes Rising

A major step up from Two Heroes. All of Class 1A get their time to shine, the animation is beautiful, and that final act genuinely has some of the best action in the series so far. Despite some small problems, this was still an awesome watch.

64. My Hero Academia Season 4

Finally got this done after a while. Similar to Season 3 where the first half is clearly stronger than the second, but this season was still overall a fun time. Great new characters and amazing upgrade to the animation.

63. Death Battle 2025

If we didn’t already know Death Battle was back! Too many bangers to count this year with basically no misses to boot. Can’t wait to see what Death Battle has in store for us in the future.

62. Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery

Another well written mystery with Benoit Blanc. While I am not sure if I prefer it to the previous film, this one still has entertaining characters, amazing scenery, and an effective complex mystery. The Covid references also took me out.

61. Wicked for Good

Not as good as its predecessor mainly due to some pacing problems and the songs not being as standout, but this film still brings the story of Wicked to an end in a great way. No Good Deed was especially a highlight.

60. Hocus Pocus

Way more insane than I expected. While not every joke lands, and the film overall reeks of 90s, it makes up for it in just pure craziness. Especially with the witches who are a blast to watch. Definitely more of a guilty pleasure for me, but I still had fun with this.

59. Doom (2016)

A Bloody brilliant game. Sure first person shooters are not really my thing and I am not sure if this game has fully turned me around on enjoying the genre as a whole, but that doesn't mean I didn't have fun all the way through this. Three words: RIP AND TEAR!
