We have a month to go but here’s my shortlist for favorite books I’ve read this year so far. Quite a few of my favorites, such as Tia Williams and Kennedy Ryan's books, this year have spice. So look into that if it matters to you.

All day (maybe all week) I’ve been like surely that’s the worst appointment? Surely. And each time another one comes in and it’s somehow worse or equally bad. How are the appointees even worse than I had feared (which was already pretty bad)?
