The Insta AI overlords decided that my tent pictures were dangerous to young 'uns. So I reckon I'll put them up here instead.

This was a wedding we set up back before the fields were soft and white with snow.

Back in thel before times, tent season ended at the end of September. These are new times.

We set a 30x60 canopy with lighting, stage, and heat for a local business. They are having an outdoor concert ... in December.

I saw a dancing tree. Kali, en-pointe. Her many arms curved above, around, before and behind.
She danced.
In a high mountain pass, where the wind roars out its song. She stood, tall and round in her pale green springery.
She danced.

Shadow, the ferocious guard cat, does not care for this dreary, rainy weather.

I too, would like to curl up and take a nap.

I bought myself a replacement tow vehicle. The old one was a 1995 Ford paratransit bus. Somewhat confusingly, we also upgraded the old delivery van to a 2020 Ford Transit van.
Anyway, I have named the new bus after an Egyptian god. She's Anubus.

Lots of tent set up this week. Virginia Tech and Bluefield University both had graduations. We set up and took down a stage and canopy for Pulaski on Main.

Golly wow! Canopy season has begun. 40x60 in Bland for a corporate event and 30x60 in Pilot for a wedding.

I am a teller of tales. Some are ancient, passed from grandfather to grandson who is himself then a grandfather telling his grandson who tells his grandson who stands before you now. Some tales are new; reborn, perhaps. They are not new, though they are in new form. I am a teller of tales.

William Penn's mother left her family's pastry shop to raise him but her sisters remained and built it up to a veritable empire. So much so that they established the prevailing prices through the colonies.
The pastry empire fell when folks finally refused to pay the pie rates of Penn's aunts.

It's one of those days. You know, the ones where you get the name Slartibartfast stick in your head but you can't remember where on the for book trilogy he fits in.

This was my first gig as the Wacky Bird of WKEX AM-1430. I must have been 10 at the time because I was still able to fit into the chicken feet.
Once I hit size 13 show, I could no longer fit the feet so I wore Wacky shoes instead.
