I was never more tempted to change my field of research 🙈. Very cool research and looks like a great research community!

We had a great panel discussion on the topics "what is normal?", "mental disorders in the media", "why is it called mental disorder and not mental illness?", "treament options" and more. I was happy that the room was filled, showing the public interest.

Open house at the ZfP Reichenau. The topic is "what is yet normal?" ("Was ist schon normal?").
The director of the ZfP Dr. Dieter Grupp gives an introduction. Normality changes, there is change and this change is progress.

Afterwards, we celebrated, and enjoyed lunch at the beautiful #HAdW @hadw-bw.bsky.social

We also enjoyed an incredibly interesting keynote by Achim Menges on biologically inspired architecture using sustainable materials.
And finally 7 prizes were given to outstanding young scienctists from different disciples, ranging from theology to chemistry.

Hans Reiter underscored the importance of academic freedom, stressing that it, as well as democracy itself, must not be taken for granted but rather actively upheld and defended.
Dr. Mark Grundeken, representing the Young Academy, provided an insightful overview of our activities over the past year.
