Yesterday, #NMAG Torrez and NMOGA hosted the first Oilfield Theft Stakeholder Collaboration in southeast NM to discuss oilfield theft mitigation. Oilfield theft is negatively impacting funding for essential statewide initiatives like education, infrastructure, public safety, healthcare and more.

#NMAG Torrez also announced that the #NMDOJ's CGIC has received the funding to acquire 4 National Integrated Ballistic Information Network machines to be distributed across the state..

#NMAG Torrez, along with state law enforcement partners, announced the first Crime Gun Intelligence Center housed within an attorney general’s office in the country. The #NMDOJ Crime Gun Intelligence Center uses forensic evidence to find connections between firearms used in crimes across the state.
