What would the flat productivity of the last 15 years in the UK have looked like, if the UK were more like other countries that do not this large, predominantly parasitic, financial centre?

But actually, it’s much more like a parasite, extracting value from the rest of the economy to for the advantage of a few at cost to most in this country
