The U.S. is like one of those huge, cumbersome passenger ships built over a hundred years ago. Very slow to changing it’s course. Think “Titanic” and you’ll have a pretty good picture of what I’m describing.

So now I want all of D.C., with all its pompous, pretentious wedding-cake buildings, razed to the ground. Replace all of it with buildings made of unadorned cinder block.

That sentiment won’t last. Americans are like sheep, and are easily corralled by fear. The Republicans know this, and will always come up with some other group of people to hate on. Then that 71% will evaporate.
