How about a duo?

I tried putting the URL into Chrome, which at least told me I needed to use Safari, which makes me suspect alternate browsers just aren't allowed to even ask you to install profiles?

I don't know if this one is Apple's fault or not, but installing profiles (like for work email/slack) didn't work with Orion set as the default browser. A page popped up telling me to go to Settings to install the downloaded profile, but it wasn't there.

It popped up notifications telling me that it couldn't pair my Apple Watch over and over. Trying again never succeeded. Eventually I turned my watch off and back on, then it worked.

When it restored and rebooted, it seemed to have restored my purchases from the other AppleID just fine, despite never succeeding with the verification code.

Then it showed me an empty progress bar for like 10min before telling me how long the restore from backup would take.

I tried repeatedly, never got a verification code. Maybe because it’s not their primary Apple ID? Eventually I said “can’t get to my devices” and it proceeded with restoring from backup.

When it was time to restore from cloud backup, I have some purchases on another Apple ID, so it had me enter that password and send a verification code to my other devices. But my other devices never got a verification code.

Then it asked me to do the software update (why didn’t it do that *before* transferring my number over, so I’d have a usable phone in the meantime?) and after it rebooted, it made me do the “hold close to your old phone” and camera rigamarole again

I did the whole “hold close to your old phone, then hold the camera of your old phone up to this pattern" thing. That worked; it transferred my number over.

the UX is usable but just kind of embarrassing — lots of things off centered, not enough spacing, whatever
