I think we are all in the same boat. My algorithms are all messed up and it is super hard to be seen by new people. It worries me publishing in the spring for the first time. I am organizing one heck of a book launch with a lot of steps hoping to reach a wide audience.

Sorry if it was me Edwin, not my intention to ever say anyone is ever "doing it wrong". I believe each interpretation has its merits and can be super fun.
