• Visited Panama canal

Transport:
Bus for border crossing to Panama City. Metro brilliant in Panama City and walked around also and found it safe

•Travel day plus stay in very local accommodation in Piedras Blancas

Transport:
Boat and local buses but all very safe and easy to manage.

Activity:Guided tour of the national Park

Transport:
Speedboat that was rough! If you have anti sickness tablets would definitely recommend

Travel day but best sunset

Transport:
Long day but safe in buses. Long wait for ferry, set a price for taxi to sierpe before going

Unfortunately we had our phones robbed at the end of our trip in Sao Paulo but all was good and should be able to finish up our central America route soon.

• Manuel Antonio National Park(no guide)

Transport:
Walked and got local bus in Manuel Antonio. Very easy, cheap and safe.

• Místico Arenal Hanging Bridges
• La Fortuna Waterfall

Transport:
Walked very safe but also very touristy. We had a shuttle to activities from our hostel

Stay: 1 night Rivas + 1 night Liberia

•Travel days plus border crossing

Transport:
Local bus and shuttle for border. Walked in both towns very safe

•Hike concepcion volcano
•Sunset at punta Jesus maria

Transport:
We rented a scooter but crashed (common enough 😞)
Would recommend the local bus to be safer to see more

Walked around Leon, it was convenient and safe.

Got a taxi and walked around El Tunco as there was more than two of us. Public bus also very easy

Transport:
Buses between each destination. All very good, safe and convenient.

The metro was excellent, safe and cheap to travel around Mexico city

We were thinking of writing a travel blog with more detail, they helped us the most backpacking around South America. More so than tik tok and Instagram for us.

Because we're unsure of how to set one up properly we thought we'd use here first to see if it would help people with travel routes.
