Highly recommend seeing a good Eagles cover band play this live! The magic of this song transcends live as much as you’d imagine

I think Fiasco would be incredible for y’all - it’s kinda built for going off the rails by the end!

F13
F13 2
F13 4, 6 (Tommy Jarvis duology)
Jason Goes to Hell (incredibly underrated)

Then:

Nightmare 1, 2, 3, 4 (1 and 3 are certified classics, 2 and 4 are still fun and good)

Finish with Freddy vs Jason

Honorable mentions:
Friday 3 - Jason gets his mask
Wes Craven’s New Nightmare - meta fun

Just finished Freddy vs Jason, finishing a years long journey of watching all the Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm St movies. Here’s the best ones to watch and in order:

That part was so so good. Honestly I feel like SotC is vastly underrated

Stephen King’s Storm of the Century (1999) Hulu - My favorite thing I’ve watched this spooky season, Andre Linoge is an absolute all-timer villain. Nails the real-life horror of small town hospitality facade, as well as a truly chilling performance by Colm Feore. Holds up to any modern horror media!

The Conjuring 4: Last Rites (2025) - This series has been one of my favorites over the last decade-plus, and Last Rites is a fun, fitting end to the Warren story. A return to form after Conjuring 3, Last Rites has great scares and great character moments. The end sequence is fun for longtime fans!

Weapons (2025) - My favorite movie of the year so far. The less you know going in, the better - but this is a masterful blend of real life and fantastical horror. Smartly/darkly funny as well!

Sinners (2025) - Multilayered and gorgeous, while there *are* horror elements to this film, I think it succeeds even more when it’s not trying to be as spooky. That being said - a delicious vampire movie at the same time. Includes one of the most mesmerizing one-takes I’ve seen in a long time.

Nosferatu (2024) - Robert Eggers best film, striking performances across the board along with a pervasively eerie atmosphere make this a strong remake of the classic original. I don’t know how Bill Skarsgärd made that voice come out of his body.

when gun violence happens to children at schools it’s not political it’s just the cost of freedom in america. when it happens to a guy who makes his living in part by telling people that gun violence is the cost of freedom in america gun violence becomes political
