DOGE's next target is the CFPB, which has returned $20B to the victims of financial fraud and abuse since 2011.
Trump just fired its pro-consumer director and had his Treasury Secretary, a hedge fund manager, halt the CFPB's work.

This guy should have no role in running our government. We didn’t elect him. He’s not a gov’t employee who is accountable. He hasn’t taken an oath to uphold the constitution or work on behalf of the American people. He’s in it for himself not for us.
