When the CSC begins, signups will be open for 2 weeks with 1 month to create the art after signups close. The first Character Swap Challenge : Reborn signup will begin on Monday, February 16th.

The CSC is all about love and support. All creators are welcome from beginner to industry veteran, as long as they are willing to share an OC and draw an OC. The goal isn't to get the best art possible, but to take some time to show love to someone else's character.

For those new to the CSC here's how it works.

1) All participating artists submit an OC.
2) All participants will receive an OC assignment (someone else's character) for them to do a fanart.
3) Once all assignments are submitted, I share them for everyone to see and celebrate each other.

For years, creators have been asking me to revive the swap but there just hasn't been time in the schedule. I am officially announcing the CSC revival as a quarterly (instead of monthly) OC swap. Signups, shares, and reveals will take place in discord.

Don’t apologize and don’t sweat the art. I know it feels like we need to feed the machine, but it’s the other way around. The art will happen when it’s time.
