They are pointing the mortar joints. They came down from the top on a swing stage from the roof and had the sidewalk covered in scaffold for protection. They are now pointing the ground floor from a lift from grade. Paint is coming off with the mortar removal.

The metro is filled with casework and cabinetry from that shop. Was hoping for a rebirth and another great, unique adaptive reuse for NE. Sad to see.
