I think this is completely inappropriate. OPH/MOAD is looked after by the federal government, with Tony Burke as responsible Minister. I'll be writing to ask him hip appropriate he thinks this is. Can I suggest others do too.

I talked to an OPH staff member who was monitoring what was going on - tried to ask if it was appropriate to hold a politically motivated protest gathering, with fake law enforcement and all, and the only answer I got was they were aware of what was going on. But it obviously still kept going on

Then I was appalled to discover it was being held inside old parliament house. So I went and had a look. Sure enough they had booked one of the internal courtyards for their little gathering. They even had the OPH provided tea and coffee urns going

Magna Carta Place is actually outside OPH, which is where I turned up just after midday to do a head count and have a bit of a laugh. I was surprised to see no one there.
