Update

The City of Victoria will no longer use X/Twitter as of 12 August 2025.

Following a motion from Councillor Thompson, the city moved away from X, and now uses this one and Threads for weather alerts, updates, and emergency comms.

VicAlert remains preferred source for emerg communications.
