One Christmas when Mads was maybe seven they decorated the Christmas gingerbread people as murder victims with lots of blood and guts. We did not take those to Great Gramma’s house in Christmas Day.

They never swatch or they never block.

If more designers were better at grading patterns, the amount of math I’d have to do when I knit their patterns would likely be significantly less. Everybody wins.

I change them whenever I actually remember. It usually takes days to remember the one in the car.

I haven’t watched baseball since the World Series in 1993. My paternal gramma was a die-hard Jays fan. She watched every game of every season. We watched them together that year.

I spend a lot of time making them bigger and pasting the key on the same page.

And this might be a me thing, but I like when the key for a cable chart tells you which cable the symbol is for AND how to work that cable. Often the ‘what’ is in the key but the ‘how’ is on a glossary somewhere else.

I like it when the key/legend is on the same page as the chart. I have copied & pasted it when it’s not.

It goes in the basket for my Sunday knitting group. When the basket is full I take it in and everyone gets new yarn.

Couldn’t see it without a whole lot of zooming. I’d leave it. I’ve seen worse in a tutorial. It may have a tiny hair but it is also an excellent illustration of the thing you need. The latter outweighs the former.

I’ve been trying to crochet a lobster for three years. I will not be defeated. But in need some space before I try again. (It’s a kit. I’m not inventing anything remarkable. Just trying & failing to follow some instructions. It’s not them. It’s me.)
