Did a bit of workout today.
A Photo taken from a CRT television. The screen shows "today's workout-results" in a german copy of the game "Dancing Stage Fusion". The game that was played uses a soft plastic dancepad with 4 square panels marked with an arrow for each cardinal direction. The game uses a choreography of arrows to show where the player must step, in accordance to the beat of the song and pattern on-screen. As such the game can calculate a rough estimate of calories burned, based on the missed inputs, as well as additional inputs.

Small Freeware Title I made back in 2019-2022 during my after-work hours.
Simple "connect 3" puzzler, but you can only move one ORB at a time.
10 levels, boss fights, 3 difficulty levels and silly cutscenes.
All packed into a fun 60min game.

Suddenly this scene returns from a vacation trip to live rent free in my head again and it makes me wonder...

Is overusing a Gimmick Device similar to... getting hooked on illegal substances?

woke up a bit too late to stream some more TGM4, but game is whole heartedly recommended to fans of the series and newcomers alike.
Heck I am not exagerating when saying that the training mode is gonna help people find out ways to improve their skills.
