We received a bit of good news today. Our department received an IU Indianapolis Institute for Engaged Learning grant to implement high impact learning practices into our courses beginning next semester. Very excited to integrate more project based learning into our teaching and assessments.

A lot of my research integrates learning science and music technology pedagogy. The hard part is finding the right balance and way of presenting what are sometimes abstract concepts in a practical way.

An article for a top journal goes through two rounds of revision. Each time, I responded to all of the comments and addressed concerns within word counts. After the first round, one reviewer recommended publication. After the second round, one brought up minor points. That's not where it ends.
