ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER has some thrilling stuff, and hilarious stuff, and it's Leo's greatest performance I don't care what anyone says, and Penn's character is a brutal dissection of a certain mind-set that has always been prevalent, but is getting catered to right now like never before, sadly.

DEATH BY LIGHTNING was mostly a good performance showcase, necessarily exposition-heavy, slightly dubious as history, and the best part, they didn't "redeem" Guiteau, but painted him as a ridiculous narcissist right to the end. Not all bad guys can be redeemed!

The message of Pluribus is, it seems like it would be awesome if the whole world ran with flawlessly harmonious efficiency, but it would actually be awful and creepy, and if you want to truly be happy, you must embrace the mess.

Pluribus episode 1 is a great Twilight Zone twist on apocalyptic storytelling plus weirdly funny plus you get to hang out with Rhea Seehorn for a bit, so it's pretty much a four-star deal.
